Top 10 Interview Pet Peeves
Having been in the executive search business for many years, I've had the pleasure of meeting some fantastic candidates. These are people that you love to have in your personal network, and in some cases, feel that you could often be friends with.
There have also been...well, how should I say this, "less-desired" candidates that are not so appealing. Sure, some of this is personal preference (like how easy - or hard - a candidate can make my role as a recruiter). But a lot of it has to do with how the candidate approaches the hiring process.
Other recruiters have had similar experiences and if I were to ask them for a list of pet peeves related to candidate interviews, what do you think they would say?
