Our client is hiring a Bilingual Territory Sales Representative for a full time, permanent opportunity, based in Kanata area. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of direct sales and promotion of door and hardware products and services to qualified accounts in the Ottawa-Gatineau territory. Bilingual English and French is mandatory for this territory.
Achieve sales quotas by establishing a robust pipeline of existing clients; identify and solicit potential clients within the assigned territory
Make cold-calls and in-person visits to customers in the commercial, industrial, institutional and residential markets
Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts
Ensure accurate pricing for bids and quotes
Establish productive work schedules and procedures; coordinate activities with other work units or departments
Supply management with insightful information on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, as well as the potential for new products
Consult with contractors and/or customers after sale to provide ongoing support and service
Participate and attend trade show and industry conferences as required
Minimum 5 years’ experience in door and hardware industry
Proficient computer skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), AVAware Quoting System and Navision Sales Order Entry System
Demonstrated creativity in the ability to provide "out-of-the-box" solutions
